TaxiBay Vehicle Booking, Modification, Cancellation and Payment Policy

Booking Policy:

  1. A booking can be done for a maximum of 14 days before the trip start date. On the other hand, a booking can be done for a minimum of 2 hours before the trip start time.
  2. Booking can be done through our website www.taxibay.in or using our dedicated customer contact line 91- 9206070086
  3. TaxiBay is market place aggregator and booking platform. To confirm the online cab bookings, it is preferred to pay an advance amount if the partner agency has requested. The advance amount is based on the trip estimated the cost and will be adjusted against the final amount payable at the end of the trip.
  4. On certain occasions the advance payment not required. In these cases, it is advised for the customer to talk to TaxiBay representative or the partner agency and ensure the booking is confirmed. For local bookings with less than 12 hours’ notice, advance not required.
  5. The cab or vehicle will be allotted by the partner agency and you will receive exact arrival time of the driver and driver contact details 8 hours before the trip for outstation.
  6. If paid advance, please carry the print out of the voucher or the SMS confirmation to ensure that advance is paid for the trip.

Note: 

In case of vehicle accident/break-down, the company will provide an alternate vehicle or will refund the advance deposit if booking stands cancelled. TaxiBay doesn't take any guarantees of any kind while you book the cabs, and any material or immaterial loss due to the usage of TaxiBay cabs shall not be subject to any compensation.

In case of the no-show by the customer or no intimation about the change of time/date of booking, the booking advance amount will be fully forfeited. In case the customer advance is less than 500 Rs, the company reserves the right to ask for more money to cover losses due to no-show/cancellations.


In case of a no-show by the Partner agency for a scheduled departure, the company will provide an immediate replacement with a similar car and in case we cannot find a replacement, a full refund of the advance amount will be done.


For booking modifications, following rules will apply:

  1. You can modify the start and/or end date (pre-pone or post-pone) for a booking without any modification fee (subject to availability of the vehicle) up to 24 hours or more before the original pickup time. The exact vehicle will be subject to availability and we will make efforts to replace with the similar model at similar rates but cannot be guaranteed.
  2. All modification requests should be communicated to us via a phone call to 9206070086 or a mail to support@taxibay.in and we will revert with the response through email, Call or SMS.
  3. At the same time, you can also inform the partner agency directly for the change in schedule.
  4. Modifications are allowed even after starting the trip, subject to availability. Such modification will be done entirely at the discretion of Partner Agency.

Remaining Payments after Advance or Payment at Trip Completion

  1. If advance amount is paid, the remaining amount for the trip is to be paid to the driver or as advised by the partner agency. Based on the outstation trip or local trip, the final amount will be paid to the driver or as advised by partner agency directly. Please report to TaxiBay support for any clarifications on billing or other things before/during/end of trip
  2. The value of the cash payment to the driver/vendor will be the total cost, plus service tax minus the advance payment (if any). Depending on the driver or partner agency the final amount can be settled in cash or paytm, UPI. Look for this information in your final confirmation on how to make the final payment.
  3. In case, the final amount is less than the advance booking deposit (if any), TaxiBay will refund the excess amount back to the customer after confirming with the driver/operator. This refund is made within 5-7 working days after the completion of the trip.

Cancellation rules:

  1. All the cancellation requests should be done via a phone call to 8448448516 or through email at info@taxibay.in.
  2. Following rules apply unless it is different from Partner Agency Cancellation Policy
  3. 100% Refund if cancelled before 24 hours for Minibus & Shuttle and 6 hours for Sedan & MUV
  4. 50% Refund if cancelled b/w 24 hours & 8 hours for Minibus & Shuttle
  5. 0% refund if cancelled within 8 hours of pickup for MiniBus and Shuttle and within 6 hours for Sedan & MUV
  6. In case the cancellation is done from TaxiBay or Partner Agency end due to unavoidable reasons, 100% of the advance amount will be refunded.

Refunds

  1. All refund requests are processed within 5-7 business days, and payments are always done via the original source of payment for booking the cab.
